Another site goes live

ICON volunteers this is the latest offering from IAS.  Its a medical study volunteer website.  The really cool thing about this site is that volunteer and study applications are administered via Umbraco dashboard. We created a new section with 2 new tabs one for volunteers and one for study applications.  Users can via the dashboard update application details, generate pdfs to send to the applicatant and thanks to the FileHelpers dll administrators can export out CSV dumps.  The DAL makes use of SubSonic.

  1. Nice work Ismail.
You mention creating a new section, was this relatively straight-forward?

I've mucked around a little with this, got the icon to appear in the lower-left corner, but got a little stuck with the tree .. you need a class that implements the ITree interface.

Then for each "thing" you want to appear on the tree you new up a XmlElement ... XmlElement newChild = Tree.CreateElement("tree"); ... ?

It'd be great to get a book out about it.
